Ghanaian rapper and a member of the defunct group Mobile Boys Yaw Grey, has bragged that they mentored a lot of rap artistes in Ghana because of their style when they were very active.
On Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex, Yaw Grey mentioned names of some senior rappers who made it big after the group “Mobile Boys” became big and also nurtured them as well.
According to him, apart from the Grand Papa Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya, Obrafuor and the group Buk Bak, no rapper has mentored rap artistes than them in Ghana.
In other news, Yaw Grey has described Asem as his small boy and that Asem even learnt how to ad-lib from him which reflected in his (Give Me Blow) song. “I will be happy if Asem mentions my name in any of his diss songs and I will school him hard, because he never finished learning before he traveled abroad” he added.
