Ghanaian musician Worlasi has called on his fans to mount pressure on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for them to pay for using his song at their manifesto presentation without his consent. The singer hints of a legal suit in a video he posted on his twitter handle on Tuesday morning.
The artiste who looked very disappointed was not pleased at all with their actions as the National Democratic Congress used one of his songs dubbed “One life” at their manifesto launch last night.
According to Worlasi in the video, NDC has not helped him in anyway to make his music neither have they helped him in any way of his life to come use his music without his consent.
“NDC, you didn’t help me make my music. You did not help me in any way in my life for me to create good music. I am not part of your manifesto so please do the right thing. Make sure you make to me the necessary payments. Do what is right and start wiring the money” he said in the video.
He also stated that the party run by John Dramani Mahama should compensate him for their actions.
He also disclosed that there are legal documents are being worked on and that he will not rest until the payments have been made to him and his management.
