Ghanaian singer Akwaboah has shot down arguments that writing your songs in English is the only way for artistes to breakthrough internationally.
The hit maker argued that it takes more than just English lyrics to hit globally. According to him, it is wrong to focus on just lyrics to make conclusions in such arguments because a good beat or production can make a song fly.
“We only pay attention to the message and forget the beat. Fact is, if you have a good beat you can do Twi songs and it can still fly. But you can also write English songs when your beat is average and can also make it. So there are two things to consider here” Akwaboah told Sammy Flex in an interview
