Ghanaian reggae and dancehall singer Jupitar De General has said that, Shatta Wale’s collaboration with American singer Beyonce is the biggest in the history of Ghana.
On Twitter, Jupitar made that statement in defense of Shatta Wale as some Ghanaians trolled him for not winning some of the Grammy award. It’s obvious they were trolling him because “Already” did not win rather Wizkid won with the “Brown Skin Girl” visuals which is on the same album with the “Already” song.
But according to him, he is forever proud and appreciates Shatta Wale for a good work done so far. “Grammys or no Grammys I’m a proud Ghanaian” he added.
Jupitar after defending his dancehall colleague Shatta Wale, gave thumbs up to all the Ghanaian artistes pushing the country to the top.
“And still @shattawalegh
collaboration with @Beyonce
remains the biggest collab ever in the history of Ghana music… we appreciate you.. big up to every artist from Ghana pushing Gh the top… Grammys or no Grammys I’m a proud Ghanaian” he tweeted.
