Chaskele & Asempah Return To Zylofon Sports In A Grand Style On Monday 3rd August 2020 At 6pm

Get this history here once and for all, as you keep it in your records for future sake. When Zylofon 102.1 FM started their operations in Accra, sports was not one of the shows the station was known for in it`s on air activities. The station started winning hard core following with just two shows: one in the morning (Showbiz Agenda) hosted by the ubiquitous Sammy Flex & the Taxi Driver Show (Afternoon) hosted by the indefatigable Blakk Rasta. The two are still rocking hard and in the helm of affairs at the East Legon based radio station on the two shows stated above.

After close to one year of its operations, there was the need to add some more slots to the stations line up and sports came in next. Management at the time wanted a team with a youthful following but had a full grasp of sports news in the country and above all had the best connect and control of the sporting fraternity in Ghana. After combing for some time, Zylofon FM secured a deal with Isaac Asempah & Jefferies Sintim Korie aka Chaskele. The two finally started what would be called “Zylofon Sports” with the radio moniker “Chaskele ne Asempah”. To say the two make sports so exciting would be an understatement as they attracted many who were not even sports fanatics with their way of presentation and witty commentaries.

To make a long story short, Asempah and Chaskele developed Zylofon Sports from scratch both on radio, TV and started competing heavily with those who had started decades before them, making Zylofon Sports attractive to even women and people of all ages. Yes, they have been away for some good months but the good news is that they are coming back on your favourite dial next week with different vibes, different slots but same exciting and informative content.

On Monday 3rd August at exactly 6pm on the same dial ZYLOFON 102.1FM, the two, “Asempah ne Chaskele” will start the next season after that long hiatus and www.sammyflextv.com can assure you that what they are bringing this time will take the city by surprise again. (Are they coming back from Benin like Sammy Flex lol?) The new show will last one hour from 6pm-7pm every week day with additional slots to be announced later. To confirm all we have published here, just tune in on Monday to enjoy the two great broadcasters who have been together since 2004 from Meridian FM at Tema through to Happy FM at Asylum Down and now with Zylofon FM at East Legon. Remember the “Matter Chop Hot… Asem no adi Lotto”? A better and a refreshing one is coming and you can only hear that on Monday when you tune in at 6pm.
