VGMA 21 Gallery: See How Your Favorite Celebrities Looked On The Red Carpet

Ghanaian stars as usual really brought their style up to the first night of the 21st Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) — and this time, we paid particular attention not just to how smart they looked on the red carpet but how these celebrities represented the fashion industry in Ghana.

On the night of the first day for the three day event, celebrities flocked the Grand Arena in Accra and before heading in to see killer performances by Sista Afia, Strongman, Sista Afia, Ras Kuuku, Eno Barony among others, they walked the red carpet in some seriously bold and beautiful looks which had about 80% of designs coming from local designers in our fashion industry. It was really impressive and a plus for the fashion industry.

At least, we are getting used to wearing what we design here and that is good for development. We hope to see more of this beautiful styles from our celebrities to encourage the Ghanaian youth to also patronize locally made designs.
