Award winning artiste KayKay Amponsah who is based in the USA has gone hard on some Ghanaian artistes in Ghana as he thinks all they do is meaningless songs.
KayKay Amponsah who won the US-based Afro pop artiste of the year in this year’s Ghana Music Award – USA has released a new jam titled “Nkwasia Nwom” featuring rapper Everlasting Tiki.
And in the song they both touched on happenings in the Ghanaian music industry and what artistes do to trend in the music industry.
According them in Ghana, for now sensible songs don’t sell anymore and good artistes do not trend and that if you see any song or artiste trending, then it’s all about meaningless songs or there is an explicit content in song.
KayKay Amponsah further mentioned a couple of artistes who do meaningless songs but Ghanaian still hail and jam to their songs. He listed AY Poyoo, Ablekuma Nana Lace, Patapaa among others.
