“I Want To Become The Biggest Artiste In Ghana” – Addi Self

Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall artiste born Jafaro Mohammed but popularly known as Addi Self has said he is not bothered about rumours of Shatta Wale telling gatekeepers and industry players not to support his music career but rather is focused on his journey in becoming the biggest artiste in Ghana.

Addi who was speaking in an interview on Kingdom+ FM said the only person he currently wants to prove wrong is his yesterday self and not really paying attention to anyone.

“I’m not here to prove anybody wrong. I am just here to prove my yesterday self wrong. I am doing it better for myself. I am looking forward to becoming bigger and higher than every artiste in Ghana. I didn’t hear those rumours myself but Joint 77 informed me personally that he is hearing Shatta is telling people not to support our music career but I am not bothered” he said in the interview.

Addi Self is currently promoting his latest song titled ‘Sorry’ and it features Natty Lee. He said the song is part of his coming album ‘Zongo To BBC’.
