Ghanaian UK based singer and songwriter, Charles Kalah has earned two big awards for his song “Take My Love.”
The Take My Love singer was the winner in two categories – Afro pop artiste of the year and Highlife song of the year.
Kalah confirmed the triumph to this reporter in a chat and was delighted and overjoyed as his team in Ghana bagged awards in two categories at GEBIA on his behalf.
The ceremony took place on Saturday July 3 at the AMA auditorium in Accra.
“It feels good to be recognized back home and I think this is going to motivate me to do more. Though I have other businesses I run, music is something I will do for a long time because I love music. It`s my passion. I am grateful for the awards. Thanks to the organizers and to my fans for the recognition” he said on Showbiz Daily live on Sammy Flex TV hosted by ace broadcaster Sammy Flex.
The singer who doubles as the CEO of Kalah Recording Studios has also been producing some musicians underground in the UK.
