Love In The Air: Selina Boateng Shares How Her Husband Proposed Love To Her

Sensational gospel artiste Selina Boateng, well known for songs like ‘Me do fo pa’ has for the first time spoken about her excitement and happiness in her new marriage as she announced her new single “Yesu Mogya” on Monday morning July 27.

Speaking to Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda via Zylofon 102.1 FM, Selina said everything about marriage excites her and that she is really enjoying every bit of it.

“Marriage is sweet, everything makes marriage sweet. Marriage has never slowed my work. My husband understands my business, he is good and affable and that makes the work goes smooth. We had a friendly conversation on phone for 7 years before he proposed marriage to me. So after prayers and sharing the word of God, he proposed and I said yes. I am even with him now. I have a big management team that works with me in my ministry but he is part of the team now. My husband is an elder at the Church of Pentecost” she revealed.

When asked if issues surrounding the marriages of her fellow gospel ministers scare her, Selina said no because she has a very good marriage foundation.

“People’s marital experiences don’t scare me. Because the foundation in marriage is very important and solid. I have looked at our marriage foundation and I don’t think anything like that can happen. My husband understands. If you marry and you understand yourselves, you can always overcome your challenges. The problems will come, it is natural but you can overcome it if you understand yourselves. Every building with a good foundation can never collapse” she explained.
