“I Want To Go Global In The Next Five Years” – Mista Myles

Mimlife Records signee Mista Myles has said in an interview that he expects to hit global, become a big brand globally in the next five years. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sammy Flex on Showbiz Daily, the Afrobeat artiste said he expects to go miles and know he can’t do this alone hence joining the family at Mimlife records.

“Mista Myles just means the miles you want to go as a person. My team gave me the name. I have officially been with the label since 2019. But I was with them for a year before they signed me and I met B4Bonah at the label. But at the moment, he is no more there. I joined the label with a family mindset. So when I realized B4Bonah wasn’t part of the label, I just decided to focus on my journey with the family. I have signed five years with Mimlife Record Label and I have dropped six songs so far. I expect to go global in the next five years and that’s my focus” Myles said.

According to him, coming up as an artiste has not been easy and one of his biggest challenges was to have someone take interest in what he was doing. He said since 2014, people approached him with lots of promises but later blocked his contact. So when he finally got this Mimlife opportunity, he felt really comfortable and felt the vibe was right. He further revealed that to become an established artiste is very hard. So for an artiste to say he wants to do it alone, that artiste has to be certain before he can make it happen. He disclosed that personally he can’t make it alone and that is why he decided to join the Mimlife team.

He also disclosed that currently the only invester pumping money into his work is Mimlife records.

Touching on his fan base, the singer had this to say: “I don’t see people supporting my creative purpose as my fans. They are my family. I am very nice to people who interact with me on social media. Most especially the ladies. They just like the music and want to express that to you. These are the same people that talk to people about your songs and tweets about your works so sometimes you have to let them know you appreciate them by getting interactive with them”.

He also revealed that he got his writing inspiration from the bathroom and that he likes to write about women and love. “I like it when the shower is running through my head. That is where I get my inspirations from. I get most of my songs from there and also get other songs based on experiences of people around me. I write about my experience at times. I write about what my life is about. That’s what I see everyday. I have not seen war before so what do you expect?” he explained.

Mista Myles is a singer, song-writer Afrobeat artiste. He said Stonebwoy once advised him that he focuses on his work and does less parties since he will definitely get there some day soon.

He is currently promoting his new song “Die For You” which was produced by WebieJustDidit. With visuals coming from the camp of Kofi Awuah II.
Myles together with his label are working on some few collaborations. Currently working with Kelvin Boy, Kwesi Arthur, Darko Vibes and couple of others.
