Notable Rawlings family and the entire country was hit by a tragic event of the demise of the former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings who died at 10:10AM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The country is in tears and many celebrities have taken to their social media handles to commiserate with the wife and family of the late former president.

Hiplife musician Mzbel wrote: “He stood quietly watching his mum in her casket few days ago. Little did he know or we know that he had few days more to join her in the land of the dead. This life is a mystery. Many things hidden from us”.

Multiple award winning reggae/dancehall artiste Stonebwoy also sent his condolences to the bereaved family.
