The issue of fans begging celebrities for money gained roots in Ghana during the Corona Virus lock down season when many were home without working. During that period, many fans resorted to begging for survival via social media and all celebrities could attest to this.

Some celebrities even made it an agenda to share some cash to their fans via mobile money. A discussion on Sammy Flex TV`s Showbiz Daily last Tuesday revealed that Yaw Grey has been suffering same and out of frustration, has put out some information worth noting. He cautioned such fans not to be doing that with him since he is also seeing hardship just as they are going through.
