Police Invites Blogger Over False Publication On Stonebwoy & His Son

Last year December, a Ghanaian blogger and presenter Gideon Ofori who resides in the Eastern Region made a false publication on Stonebwoy and son claiming its rumored that Black Cedi, former manager of Stonebwoy is the real father of Janam Joachim Satekla.

Stonebwoy and his wife not being too cool with such publications reported the blogger to the police for an investigation according to reports. Meanwhile, there are other reports that suggest that Aisha Modi aka She Loves Stonebwoy was rather the person who reported the case to the police. Aisha Modi is a die hard supporter of the dancehall super star who has vowed to protect the integrity of the artiste with her last blood. He has been invited by the Accra Regional Police head quarters to assist in investigations over his publication.

Gideon after visiting the police station has retracted what he wrote, deleted it on his Facebook timeline and has apologized to the Satekla family. Unfortunately for him, many news portals took advantage of his post and has shared it making matters worse for him.

Read his apology below:

On 27th December 2020 I made a publication on my timeline promulgating a false rumour that Dr Louisa’s son Is for Black Cidi instead of Stonebwoy.

This rather distasteful false rumour has been widely circulated.

And the consequences have been invited by the police to assist in investigations.

I want to take this medium to send an apology to Dr Louisa, the husband (Stonebwoy), the family and the fan base for subjecting them to public ridicule and pain due to my amateurish type of blogging.

Also, I am calling on Those Called Celebs and other bloggers and social media users who had screenshot my post and have publicised it on their platforms to pull it down.

To my colleague bloggers, Its about time we get serious with what we do and also take the ethics of our job serious in order not to infringe people’s right.

I have learnt my lessons.
