Video! Saxophonist Painfully Reveals How Some Artistes Stopped Him From Doing Cover Versions Of Their Songs

Award winning saxophonist Mizter Okyere has revealed why some artistes in the Ghanaian music industry do not want to permit him to do saxophone covers of their songs. He made these revelations when he had his turn on the Showbiz Agenda radio platform hosted by Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM.

He talked about promoting the songs when he does the covers so he does not see why they should prevent him from doing such covers. Mizter Okyere revealed how some artistes who watched and heard their own covers even refused to promote them when they were tagged on social media.

“Ghanaian artistes are too stingy when it comes to me doing their covers. After doing the covers, they feel so big to promote it and some have even prevented me from doing their covers entirely. I sometimes request for the instrumentals of the songs to be able to do the covers but they don`t share it with me” he added.
