Yaa Pono Explains His “No Artistes Should Perform At My Funeral” Statement Clearly

One of Ghana’s finest rappers Yaa Pono some months ago, made a statement in an interview that no artiste in Ghana should sing at his funeral when he is gone. As a matter of fact, many thought it was one of his usual funny commentaries but he has expatiated that in another interview.

He was asked by Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda live on Zylofon FM as to why he made such a serious statement like “I don’t want any artiste to come and sing at my funeral” and his explanation is still being discussed by many.

“I made that statement and i still stand by that though. I personally don`t enjoy performing at people`s funeral so same way, i don`t wish people come to perform at my funeral as well. I also don`t see me leaving this world soon so what it means is that, i will be the last to die for any one to think of performing at my funeral” he revealed

According to Ponobiom, he thinks it’s possible the artistes who want to sing at his funeral will die before him. Again, he said he might be buried within 24 hours as a Muslim and that means there will be no time for any artiste to perform at his funeral.

Yaa Pono is out with a new banger “1997”, a real typical Ghanaian “burger” high Life produced by Dr. Ray.
