In America, Kim Kardashian West is one of the personalities who always gets the phrase “breaking the Internet” for her activities on online. The meaning of the phrase has changed in these modern times if not in Ghana alone.
In the past, when one says breaking the internet, it meant “causing it to no longer function,” but now it has more to do with dominating the conversation in the most populated corners of the Internet, especially at the expense of more newsworthy topics.
What Afia Schwar has been doing recently on the internet really fits the phrase “Breaking the internet”. Not long ago, she insulted Ghanaian leaders for allowing some senior high school students to go back to school whiles “corona” in her opinion is still spreading in the country.
The controversial Ghanaian media personality Afia Schwarzenegger aka Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa has done it again. In a recent post on her Instagram page, she subtly jabbed her haters by doing money in the a*ss gesture and the song playing at the background of this video is entitled “Nanka be y3den na ay3 wo ya” which literally means, “if not this, how else would it pain you” by Nana Acheampong.
