Singer Apaatse Reveals Why Sarkodie Never Supported Donzy To The Top
Hip-life musician Enoch Allotey known publicly as Apaatse has refuted public perceptions that he loves to sing about women, claiming he preaches love and not women.
According to the singer/song-writer who was on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM on Monday to respond to issues involving his song theft issues against rapper Donzy, explained that singing about love is not same as singing about women.
“I preach love. I don’t sing about women. Nobody wants to marry someone he or she doesn’t love. So basically my songs give details on love and not as people think” he told Sammy Flex.
Touching on his issue regarding song theft by Tema based rapper Donzy, he said he is hurt the rapper had to do that but wasn’t too bothered. He said all he wanted was an apology and appreciation from Donzy and not really interested in this feud.
According to him, Donzy sampled the song he initially recorded with him and did not inform him about it. He noted that everything Donzy goes about saying in defense to these allegations in interviews are lies and he is very disappointed.
“People will be wondering why after Sarkodie supported him, he couldn’t shoot to the level he expected. Sometimes, we don’t understand those ahead of us but these are some of the attitudes. He goes about saying a whole lot that are not true. But it`s all good” he stated.
