Yaw Sarpong Donates To Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Accident Ward As Part Of Activities To Celebrate His Birthday
Veteran gospel minister Yaw Sarpong has donated cash and some food items to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital accident ward as part of activities to mark his birthday celebration.
The “Wo haw ne sen” hitmaker turned a new age Thursday, February 4.
As part of activities to mark this year’s birthday celebration, the humble looking singer in the company of his management team led by Nana Poku Ashis, visited the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital accident ward to donate the items including drinks, water, toiletries and other health supplies.
His manager, Nana Poku Ashis addressing the media and authorities at Korle-bu said the popular gospel singer, who has done so well for mother Ghana is donating the items to encourage those at the ward with his little contribution.
“Yaw Sarpong is a gospel musician. I am sure most of you here might know him. He has done so well for mother Ghana. It is his birthday today and he decided that, some time last year, he himself faced a challenging accident and almost lost his life. But God been so good, your colleagues at the Komfo Anokye Hospital saved him and our mother’s life. So on this day, he decided that his little contributions from his heart will also come to the people here and encourage them on something he has also gone through. So our visit here is very brief” – Ashis said.
