Wendy Shay Goes Hard On Nana Addo`s Gov`t As He Prohibits Celebrities From Advertising For Betting Companies
RuffTown Records signee Wendy Shay has also thrown shot at government after her boss Bullet ranted over the Gaming Commission serving them a letter to stop advertising for a Betting company.
Wendy on Twitter complained that, due to government’s prohibition on celebrities advertising for alcoholic beverages, it has contributed to them losing their jobs to Nigerians thus the “Adonko deal”.
Now it’s the turn of Betting Companies to call the shots as government stops celebrities from advertising for them because of their big influence and being role models to many in Ghana.
Bullet earlier ranted and has decided to move his record label to Nigeria if the Ghanaian government fails to change the laws which go against the creative arts sector.
“In a year or 2 there will be no record labels in Gh due to stringent/ heart-wrenching laws made by people occupying higher positions to collapse the creative arts 1st it was FDA, and now Gaming commission, I am moving Rufftown to Nigeria , if the gov’t doesn’t change these laws” Bullet ranted.
Wendy posted on Twitter as she addresses Nana Addo and his government:
“Dear @NAkufoAddo 1st, FDA stopped celebs from promoting alcoholic bev’s making us lose jobs to Nigerian celebrities. Gaming commission just stopped us from promoting betting serv. So how do we survive as creative persons in this pandemic?
