Rapper Amerado Condemns Having A Show With Just 100 People In Attendance, As He Suggests Other Ways Out
Ghanaian rapper Derrick Sarfo Kantanka popularly known as Amerado from Kumasi has said that, it’s not advisable to have an event with 100 people in attendance.
Sitting in the midst of three entertainment Journalists including the host, Sammy Flex on Sammy Flex TV’s “Showbiz Daily”, he listed his reasons supporting the fact that it’s not right to host a show with 100 people within this Covid19 era.
To him, it’s better artistes continue to do the virtual concert than gathering people to perform to them, just to avoid physical contact which could lead to the spread of the virus.
Amerado the “Mempe” rapper added that prevention is better than cure, therefore artistes should be patient and wait till we get a vaccine for the virus before they host big event because the 100 people are not enough to solve all their poverty problems.
“If I’m to play a show with 100, people then I have to charge like GHC200 and above. Ghanaians are not fond of paying such amount for shows, so I think we should still hold on to the virtual shows till we get a vaccine”, he concluded.
