ASEM Gives Amerado Burner Last Warning For Stealing His Concept
Nana Wiafe Asante-Mensah, also known as ASEM is a Ghanaian rapper and singer. After staying quiet from the music scene for some time, he has come back with a lot of “beef” to share with some musicians and industry people. Music lovers who are following ASEM on social media know the “beef” between him and Sarkodie. The connoisseurs of the Ghana music and entertainment industry say he was the target for Sarkodie’s recent song “Sub Zero”. After Sarkodie’s episode, Sammy Forson and some industry players have also clashed with ASEM.
The latest “Beef” from ASEM’s camp is on Amerado. Amerado is a Kumasi based rapper who has been making waves recently in the music scene with a very interesting concept of rapping and singing to present current issues making the news.
ASEM in his recent video to Amerado said
“…. I put the message in writing but you act like you didn’t hear it and you proceeded to drop the Yeete Nsem series again”.
This action from Amerado has made ASEM furious and thus he sent a strong warning to Amerado by saying he will take him to court and take 60 percent of the revenue Amerado would get from Yeete Nsem series because it is his invention and that even the name Amerado is using for the series is a derivative of his name, ASEM.
According to the video, all that ASEM was looking for is for Amerado to acknowledge him as the originator of the concept and hence, it is only proper and respect to come for his blessings. ASEM also advised Amerado and his team to read the copyright law and act accordingly.
It didn’t take long for Amerado and his team to respond to ASEM’s warning. The team says they are ready to face ASEM in court.
