Yaa Pono Rubbishes Shatta Wale Having AIDS Claims: Read What He Said Exactly

Yaa Pono, a Ghanaian rapper and the leader of Uptown Energy has denied Shatta Wale being infected with AIDS as he put in his diss song “Gbee Nabu” some years back.

On Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex, he said it was a diss song with no formula and reality, so he felt he could put anything there to make a meaning and a rhythm.

Interestingly, the Shatta we know has also been doing same. He has been accusing his own colleagues wrongly in most of his diss songs as Pono did to him, making him guilty to the same offense after Ponobiom had told the truth about the state of Shatta Wale`s HIV status. Fact is Shatta Wale is not HIV positive as has been said by some musicians including Pope Skinny.

Sammy Flex questioned Yaa Pono if he truly has evidence of the accusations against Shatta Wale about him being infected with AIDS in his “Gbee Naabu” song and this was his exact response. He said “Oh no, it was just a diss song and sometimes you just have to say something that will make fun of your opponent”.
