“Kelvyn Boy Came To Apologize To Me And Ashaiman” – Stonebwoy
Reggae/Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has disclosed that Afro beat singer Kelvyn Boy came to apologize to him and the honorable people of Ashaiman after his derogatory manner of expressing himself towards the city.
According to him on Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1 FM, he said this happened after some follow ups were done into the matter when he was wrongly accused of sending his boy to attack Kelvyn Boy.
“I think what we put out and I also read and confirmed is that, within that period, there was no forms of any employment whatsoever. But that doesn’t dissociate me from him. I will stand here and speak the truth only. These are my brothers. Sammy if you see me roaming with a certain people they are my brothers. You know because of diplomacy some people have told lies and dissociate. I am the leader of the gang. Leader of BHIM Nation, if there are any gun shots it hits me first else you are a wrong leader. But these are my people. That was Ashaiman, the incident that happened, there were follow ups. Right here on your show I think some statements were made that were very disrespectful to the city, you know, owing to the same city and it shows under the auspices Burniton Music Group that I’ve held number of events that same said artiste got opportunities to showcase and got these same opinion leaders, these our elder brothers in the society to support because I came and gave them, but the way in that derogatory manner he expressed himself towards the city got everybody pissed off. You get what I mean? And the subsequent follow ups there on. So whatever happened over there, I had zero idea about” he explained.
He further diclosed: “I was in my studio at home when I even got calls that the said person has started insinuating that I was the one who said but guess what, one thing I never said is that, that’s done and done. He came to apologize and I was waiting for them to put it on the same platforms he shared his insinuations. Personally I am not interested, I tell you people, I am not interested in people’s misfortunes or bad press. If not, the things I can disclose? It will be more bad press for people but I wasn’t raised like that. If someone’s bad press will come because of me, then I will try to avoid that from happening. Sometimes when it gets to me that is when I want to spill the beans and even that I am very careful with it. That is who I am. So I was hoping that he would have put that thing back on social media and then everybody will see it but it is also good he didn’t do it. But on your show where this were all started, that’s why I’m saying this. I have never said this anywhere. He was actually there in the presence of his manager Black Cedi and they did the due diligence. So I’m sure that we have seen improvement from such behaviors. I believe that the honorable people of my honorable city are cool now and whatever there be has been sorted”.
