Kwaku Manu Hails Agya Koo; Calls Him A “demigod” In The Ghanaian Movie Industry

Comic actor and musician Kwaku Manu has hailed Agya Koo as he has referred to him as a “demigod” in the Ghanaian movie industry.

In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM’s Afro Joint, he mentioned that Agya Koo was a god in the Ghanaian movie industry because at his time, no one could challenge him. “As a producer, you will produce a movie but without Agya Koo, no one will purchase it” he added.

“Agya Koo at his prime was a demigod. Whenever he travels, no one produces movies because if you try that without him your movie won’t sell. No one will buy your movie without seeing Agya Koo in it” Kwaku said.

“No one has ever broken the record of Agya Koo yet. Agya Koo was so powerful to the extent that movie producers and directors always meet him at the airport to welcome him when ever he returns from abroad” he disclosed.
